About this guide
MaltaDays is an independent guide to the Maltese islands. It sells nothing, takes no bookings and represents no hotel, tour or rental company.
What the site covers
Ten places across Malta, Gozo and Comino, each with its own page: Valletta, Mdina and Rabat, Sliema and St Julian's, Gozo, Comino and the Blue Lagoon, Marsaxlokk, the Blue Grotto, the Three Cities, Mellieha and Golden Bay, and Marsaskala. That is the whole archipelago at the level most visitors actually plan at.
The site is built around one question, because it is the question that decides how a Malta trip feels: where do you base yourself. Malta is small enough to see from anywhere and different enough between towns that the choice still matters. Sliema and St Julian's, Valletta and Gozo produce three genuinely different holidays.
How the pages are written
Each destination page follows the same structure so you can compare like with like: where to stay, what the place is actually for, how to get there, how long is worth giving it, and a short list of things worth knowing before you go.
Content is compiled from published tourism and transport information, operator timetables, and the practical detail that tends to be missing from official sources, such as which bays are exposed when the wind turns and which sites shut in the early afternoon. Pages are dated and revised rather than left to drift.
Where something is genuinely a matter of taste, the page says so instead of pretending there is one right answer.
What this site is not
There is no inventory to fill. No hotel or operator has paid to appear, and no destination is ranked higher because a partner sells more there. The site is funded by affiliate commission, explained in full in the affiliate disclosure.
It is also not a booking service. Everything you book, you book with the company itself, under their terms.
Corrections
Prices change, ferries change, restaurants close. If something on a page is wrong or out of date, it gets fixed. Tell us at hello@maltadays.com and it gets looked at.
